Care Guide
Did your suede get wet? Here’s how to avoid damage

Rescue steps
- Blot, don’t rub: use a microfiber towel to lift water without pushing it into the nap.
- Pack with shoe trees + paper: cedar trees shape; paper pulls moisture from deeper layers.
- Air dry only: room temperature, indirect light; never heater or sun to avoid stiffness.
- Raise the nap: once dry, brush with a suede brush (soft brass/crepe) in one direction.
- Re-protect: apply a water-repellent spray (silicone-free if possible) from 20 cm away.
Prevention playbook
- Spray protectant before first wear and every 8–10 outings in rainy seasons.
- Rotate pairs—give suede 24h to release moisture after each wear.
- Avoid salt: rinse splash marks quickly with a barely damp cloth, then dry and brush.
